Gorgeous embroidery details all down the front of her habit and face make this piece even more of a treasure.  St. Maria Faustina had visions of Jesus which inspired the Catholic devotion to the Divine Mercy. St. Faustina is a Polish nun and is dressed in the traditional habit of the Congregation of Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy also known as the Order of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Mercy.
