Volunteering At Celtic Cove Catholic Bookstore

Did you know that Celtic Cove is 100% volunteer run?

These are people you'll meet when you stop by and visit us. Some are helping in our store in Oxford and others help us travel to and maintain contact with the 20 parishes we serve. Be sure to thank them. We could not continue without the help of these dedicated and talented volunteers.

Karen Fox

Karen Fox volunteer"Volunteering at Celtic Cove Catholic Bookstore is a great opportunity to meet and serve other people of faith and to use the gifts of the Holy Spirit. It is a good way to teach and learn about Christ, our Blessed Mother, and our Church in the public square."

In addition to helping out as a store clerk, Karen is a busy art teacher who also contributes her time as our seasonal store decorator extraordinaire! Her displays are beautiful! Karen also maintains our Facebook Page, sharing top content from some of the best Catholic resources, to keeping our fans up-to-date on what's new at the store. Please extend a huge thank you to Karen for all she does for us.

Elizabeth Hartjen

Elizabeth volunteer"My experience at Celtic Cove is a very enriching one. The customers express their gratitude for the variety of materials available to them through the store. I am amazed at the people's knowledge and love for the Catholic faith and their hunger for a deeper understanding of what it means to be Catholic."

We are so grateful for Elizabeth's help at Celtic Cove. She always greets our visitors with her bright smile and sweet Irish eyes. She also speaks fluent French. A retired teacher, Elizabeth especially enjoys greeting students who come visit the store. Be sure to thank her for her dedication at Celtic Cove.
