Comic Book JPII Socks - Adult

$15.99

Pope John Paul II was born Karol Józef Wojtyła on May 18, 1920 in Wadowice, Poland. Known for his influential papacy from 1978 until his passing in 2005, he was not only a spiritual leader but also a charismatic and cool personality. Beyond his religious duties, Pope John Paul II exhibited a profound interest in diverse art forms and cultures. Notably, his appreciation for the Marvel comic book character Spider-Man became widely known. It is said that the Pope found solace in Spider-Man's motto of "With great power comes great responsibility." The Pope’s extraordinary life even inspired the creation of his own Marvel comic book titled "Karol Wojtyła: The Life of Pope John Paul II." Our sock design is inspired by his love for comic books and also showcases his famous quote, "be not afraid," presented in all the languages he spoke fluently.

Our socks make great Catholic gifts for all occasions: First Communion, Confirmation, Ordination, Wedding, Christmas Presents, Easter Baskets, Graduation.
